Craig’s Story
Craig Pellegrini Jr. is a race car driver from Buena, NJ. He grew up with a dream of racing cars like his idols. To get behind the steering wheel for a living, he began racing go-karts at a young age and stepped into the open wheel sprint car ranks at just 13 years old. He raced sprint cars for nine years, collecting a championship along the way.
He briefly drove TQ Midgets on asphalt short tracks before returning to his roots on dirt. Craig drove for a local owner for a season before securing strong local sponsors who pushed his team back to competitive levels and restored the confidence needed to win. After considering stepping away from racing due to rising costs, he explored promoting a track with Let’s Be Frank. Ultimately, the logistics didn’t work out, and the team pressed on, producing their most consistent season to date with career-high laps led.
The 2026 season began with a brief introduction to the ARCA Menards Series, and shortly after, Craig was fortunate to join Let’s Be Frank to chase his dream of becoming a professional American stock car driver in a NASCAR national series. He looks forward to reaching major milestones, connecting with fans, and soaking in every moment of the exciting season ahead while driving for Fast Track Racing in the ARCA Menards Series East with title sponsor Let’s Be Frank.
As Craig continues chasing his dream at the national level, the reality of racing remains a constant challenge that must be matched with resources. Rising costs, travel, equipment, and race operations make every lap possible only with support from those who believe in the journey.
